Just chilling after work

Ah, winter. The time when I say hello to winter blues. The phase in my life where I only feel somewhat productive during the day and 0% in the evening.

I have abandoned all plans of learning some (new) things after work, although this actually started earlier this year due to the whole Corona situation.

So what keeps me busy?

I write some short stories. Target audience? Myself.

I reread stories. Like Harry Potter, or the Splintered Series, or Twilight, even some Percy Jackson. My go-to will always be HP though.

I draw random things. Either on paper, just scribbling things. Or on my Samsung tablet. Sometimes just following some live drawings on Penup.

I take out my (cheat) sheet of Ukulele chords and play some songs. Current fave: Apples by Lily Allen.

I watch series. This is probably what I do the most. And 70% of the time they are korean romcoms. I guess this was instilled in me since the late 90s.

Sometimes I wonder if I would not have this phase had I stayed in the Philippines. Or is it just old age that has made me so tired of learning new things in the evening?
